A dirty and clean to everyday...

My house is consumed with dirty and clean....dirty brightly colored clay dishes, clean darling dresses, dirty smudgey bathroom mirrors, clean little sweet faces, dirty doggy feet on sofas, clean white sheets fresh and folded, and so on. I can scrub, clean, and wash everything in my house (except the garments with the dry clean only labels of course.) I can control all areas of cleanliness (for at least 1 hour a day when the tiny tots are sleeping that is) in my house. But then it happens...everyday...I have to step out of my home and enter God's great big world...and it can be messy. Sometimes it is down right dirty. So in addition to vacuuming therapy I thought I'd share the clean and dirty of my days with family and friends. Hope you enjoy the therapy as much as me!

Today I sat around a table of teachers and administrators with my husband by my side...only to be told that due to my son's disabilities (in very a very friendly white puffy cloud sort of way) he would not be awarded the opportunity to be educated along side his typical peers at school. He would have to be removed from the other children at school and placed in a room with only students who shared similar disabilities. I was told my child was "lesser than" today and its tearing my heart in shreds.

Dirty.

After the meeting I scooped up my precious boy from his class and came home to make lunch for my kids. We opened our lunch time devotion book and the title blew me away...YOU ARE A MIRACLE! I cupped tiny faces and read words to them that healed my soul. You are a special gift and God made you in his image. I held up a mirror for them to see their peanut butter faces and said to each of them, Can you see how special you are? You are a miracle created by the Most High God! I choked back tears and soon wiped the table clean.

Clean!
