The Secret Park....shhhh!

We stumbled upon the "secret park " and we are in love with it! It is a tiny park downtown nesteled between two houses on a residential street. It has a merry go round of sorts and Asher and Eden love it. I love this park too...huge trees, lots to do, and it is sooo quiet. We had lots of fun there today...wish I could tell you the exact location...but shhhhh it's a secret.

Beach Girl

Just a little girl....who loves the beach.
She calls the beach "the water" and asks to go several times a week.
Today we indulged per her sweet request
"can we go to the water please!!!!"

Healing Hands

When Asher gets sick...he gets REALLY sick. His body has a weak defense system because of his low muscle tone. So when he gets sick he also stays sick longer than the average kid because his muscles are weak and have a hard time fighting off illness. When he is ill he is more likely to have a break through seizure. He is on medication to control his seizures, but when he is sick the medication absorbs differently and sometimes and can cause him to seize. When he is sick we push fluids, take his temperature often, make sure that he gets rest...you know normal taking care of sick child stuff. But we also pray...we pray that he WILL recover...that he will not have a seizure...and that he will not loose overall strength upon recovery. Today he is a very ill weak little boy and he has lost his voice and he is glassy eyed and in a fixed gaze...so please PRAY. Pray that little Asher will receive the touch of the Almighty's Healing Hands. Thank you for your prayers we hope you are having a Happy Sabbath!

Let's Pretend for Just One Day...

that we are a cowboy and a fairy princess! That we can eat cotton candy or whatever we want and play all day long jumping in castles that bounce! Let's pretend just one day a year...or not...because when you are 2 and 5 you can pretend tommorrow all over again!
